Accompanist
Fernando Buide, PianistBorn in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, he has studied in the conservatory of his home town and in the conservatory of Oviedo, where he studied piano, organ and composition. He also holds a master degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. Currently his pursuing his doctoral degree at the Yale School of Music. As a composer his work range from chamber and solo music to orchetral, including choral and wind ensamble pieces. His works have been performed, amongst others, by Pittsburh Symphony, Carnegie Mellon Philarmonic, Sinfonica de Galicia, Filarmonia de Galicia or New Music New Haven. He was conductor of the Latin American Choir and organist at the Forest Hills Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh. |
